Our History
In 1966, Frank Resnek and Gerald Rosen, elementary school friends who were both practicing attorneys in New England, established Churchill Forge Properties. The company’s first purchase was a block of retail stores in Canton, Massachusetts as a means to generate a secondary source of income. After having some modest success with this initial investment, Frank and Gerry started seeking out additional investment opportunities, with Frank eventually leaving the legal profession to focus solely on multi-family property acquisition and management.
Initially, the company was focused on acquiring “value add”, garden style apartment communities in Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire. However, in 1998, Churchill Forge expanded beyond its New England roots, and started to acquire properties in Austin and San Antonio, Texas. This soon expanded to the Carolinas, and eventually to Ft. Myers, Florida. Churchill Forge’s most recent acquisitions have been in the Permian Basin – with two new properties acquired in Odessa, Texas, and one in Midland, Texas.
